lower heel height will be more discrete. How is shaft measured?

Penny Loafers Calto
Great shoe quality with sophisticated leather! Best worn with slim fit pants. Im asian and the sizes are big for this shoe. The comments said to go half size smaller which I did follow, The size 8 fits me just right with thick foot socks, which resulted with the shoe fitting not too loose not to thight. Just right. Thank you Calto!

Quality penny loafers feel and look great. However it ran 1/2 size too large. The return for a smaller size was easy and seamless. Received the smaller size quickly. Happy with this shoe and the customer service.
High quality, very nice shoes but runs large.
These shoes are very nice. They're high quality and look great, however, they run very large. Bought my son two pairs as a Christmas gift, and they looked lovely. He wears a size 7. When he tried them on, one shoes look like it was an size 8 and the other looked larger than an 8. We had to wait to return them and get the 6 & 1/2. He hasn't tried them because he lives in another state. I highly recommend them for how they feel and look.

Loafer review
The shoe is well made and extremely comfortable and stylish. They look good with jeans or slacks. I took their advice on sizing and ordered them a 1/2 size smaller. After wearing the for a while I ordered them in black.
S1092 Penny Loafer
Liked the S1092 Penny Loafer so much I bought a 2nd pair. It's the closest thing to a 'preppy' shoe I have worn over the years. Wish the entire show was with the material on the rear side of the shoe.
